About Me

Not a straight line, and that’s the advantage

Christina Kang

Moving is something I understand personally. I was raised in Maine, and my life has taken me to California, then Florida, and finally to North Texas, where I built my home in Grand Peninsula. Most recently, I sold a family cottage in Maine from more than a thousand miles away. I know what it’s like to pack up a life, trust someone else with the details, and hope it all comes together. I’ve spent more than a decade making sure it does for my clients across the DFW Metroplex.

My path to real estate wasn’t a straight line, and I think that’s my advantage. As a paralegal in insurance defense litigation, I learned to anticipate problems, build strategy, and negotiate when the stakes were high. Handling constituent casework for a U.S. congresswoman taught me to listen carefully and stay with a problem until it was solved. Alongside my early real estate career, I also worked as a State Certified Residential Real Estate Appraiser, which gave me an appraiser’s understanding of what truly drives a home’s value. Earning that license took formal appraisal coursework, a trainee period in Florida logging at least 2,500 hours of supervised appraisal work over a minimum of two years, and the national certification exam, which I passed in Texas. Today I bring all of it to every transaction.

That approach has earned me Top Producer honors company-wide, among roughly 700 agents, and Top Listing Agent twice at CENTURY 21 Judge Fite Company, along with corporate CENTURY 21 awards. I hold the GRI (Graduate, REALTOR® Institute), MCNE (Master Certified Negotiation Expert), and CLHMS (Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist) designations.

Grand Peninsula and Mira Lagos are home turf, and I know them street by street. But my clients come from all over North Texas, and many of them come back to me, or send the people they care about most.

When we work together, you’ll have my full attention, honest advice, and someone who treats your sale as if it were my own.
